▶ Your Answer :
I strongly agree with the
statement that people learn more by watching television than by reading books.
There are several reasons that I could discuss to support my argument so I will
limit my discussion to the two that I feel are the most relevant to the topic.
Those reasons are convenience and wider range of information.
First of all, the most
important point for my feeling this way is the concept of convenience. Most
people think that watching television is more convenient convenience than reading books. This is actually reminds
me of a study that I read a few months ago in the Asian Newspaper written conducted by Dr. Kim, who is an expert
in regarding acts. The study said that
87.5 percent of 30 to 50 years olds
people thought that learning by
watching TV is more
convenient convenience. The reason for this was
that there are so many things to prepare for reading books do to read books such as bright light, a
chair and a desk and to equip with all those things ready this is not easy for people. However, to
watch TV is just looking it and people do not ready to learn with this. I
thought that this was interesting because I felt convenience when watch the
television for learning too.
Another reason for argument
is information. If I learn with television, then I can have wider range of information. I'm sure that
this is true for many others and I can just talk about my own experience life to show how this can happen is correct. When I was in high school, students
studied with only text books. The information that those books contained took with this books was is very narrow. Lather, my high school
started a project using TV program for studying. Now, I can take much information
with watching television easily. After using this project, the grade of my high
school students is increasing.

^^
In conclusion, I think that
these arguments should adequately explain and support my position on this
prompt. |
