There is an old Korean saying, "To aggregate is to live; to scatter is to die." I entirely agree with this sentiment, and this is why I want to argue that getting a job in which people work with others. First, working together may be better than doing so alone. Seconldy, it can be more efficient.
To begin with, it may be more enjoyable and happier for one to work with other people. On one hand, if there are many people, there might be a lot of problems; however, on the other hand, coming together should be much more powerful than being alone. Although the former situation occurs frequently, the latter is far more appropriate in some labor. For example, there was a survey about the satisfaction in people's work. In the survey, people between the age of 28 to 60 were asked how mach satisfied they were in their field. Of those who answered, 70% said that they were satisfied with their job, and they were happy now. When asked to explain, these people said that working with other people make themselves forget difficulty in work. Conversely, it was revealed that the rest 30% who work alone of the people, such as one running their own shop, tend to complain about their task, and they had to work only for feeding their families without any other fulfillings. Although this result does not prove getting a job in which you work with others, it gives weight to my argument. This example can be interpreted as the fact that working together is better than doing alone.
Moreover, people who work together could feel effecient. This is because, working together can be divided into a detail part of whole process of labor. That is, it is possible for people only to take their task. Therefore, it is enough to accomplish their own task. For instance, the Korean documentary "Working Hell" is the great example that demonstrates this idea. In the documentary, the filmmaker delves into the efficiency of the division of labor. In this process, it was reveal that even people who work together without too much making an effort are great worker(high efficiency) much more than those who do not, more so than people expect. This example can be interpreted as the fact that getting a job in working together is better.
To conclude, Although there are many good reasons why some people get a job in working alone, I believe that it is better to get a job in working together. Not only may working together be better than doing so alone, but also, can it be more efficient. |
