Recently, the general awareness that teacher is the most influential people to students. People who grew up in diverse environment maintain various understanings to the topic. Some people agree with the statement because they controll the students and give their intelligence. However, regardless of what oppoents argue, my personal takes on the matter is that freinds are more influential than teachers. I can list a number of reason that I can use to support my idea, I will limit discussion to two of the most important points.

First of all, students spend much more time with friends than teachers. While students meet their teachers only in classes, they study and play with their freinds all most almost everyday. The more time they spend together, the more chance to effect on each other. When I was in high school, I had very close friends group. We did everything together such as going to school, eating, studing and playing, even in weekend. We were effected by each other one another (each other는 두명일때 one another을 두명이상일때 서요) a lot in many ways. This is not only for my case, meaning most students mix with a peer group which have effects on them.
On top of that, students easily follow what their friends do, whereas they tend to exclude what adults do, especially teachers. Adolescents usually have the sprit of insubordination to the adult such as their parents or teachers while they have tendency to accept what their friends do. To be specific, a few days ago I read the new article published by KEI, Korean Education Institute. The study have shown that about 68% of students have an antagonism to the world and adult including their teachers. However, as they feel dissatisfaction, they want to follow their friends actions and thoughts, which means that a peer group is very influential to the students.
