It is debatable that to read book for the second time is more interesting than to read it for the first time. Many people complain that reading a same book twice is quite boring. In my opinion, however, It is not thoughtful idea. It is more interesting to read book for the second and third time in many cases, because it allow us to know what we missed and masterpieces are not easily understood by reading once. nearly impossible to digest all thing of a book which is written with an author's effort since good books are written for several months at least. For instance, text books, which are used in college, are usually giant stockfile of knowledge. Only after I read the Introduction to quantum mechnics witten by Griffith 5 times and solved most of problems of the book, I felt that I could understand a half ot the book. I suppose every college students agree with me. on our situation and the level of intelligece. When I was in highschool, I read the forest of Norway by Murakami Haruki. I could not understand why tha book is paised and so famous at that time, it was common novel for me dealing with a love. However, when I read the book again agter 4 years, I was so impressive that real his all books including his short stories. I was inspired by the way that his characters interacts with other. Some conversations and descriptions moved me. I have a simialr experice about Koen's book of poems. appreciating a book even if we think a book is not worth to be read again. |
