Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. |
Your grammar is alright, but the problem is logic.
It is needless to say that there are passionate teachers behind the excellent students. In general, teachers have more knowledge than students. (Hasty generalization)
However, they should have enough passion and responsibility to properly teach the students. This can be achieved through the evaluation of students toward faculty. (How can you make teachers acquire their passion and responsibility?) From evaluating faculty, students can expect not only high quality of education but also student's participating in school affairs. Teachers can have chance to improve their knowledge and vitalize their passion to education by being evaluated. Generally, humans tend to have a jealousy toward people who manages better than them. Students can expect the competitiveness between faculties and eventually expect a high quality of education by utilizing this mind. For example, Korean students are provided with comparatively low quality of education for there are no periodic tests for teachers checking their academic levels. It is the main reason why the numbers of Korean students studying in America ranked the highest place. It also consumes three billion dollars a year. However, in Scotland, they solve these problems by introducing a firing system for teachers. They fire teachers when teachers are not qualified for their test. Thus, they became to be provided with excellent faculties and education. It can be a big chance for students to participate in school affairs. They could actively give opinions to student government to modify some problems in school. For example, as a president of freshman, I made a regular poll system to vote the best behaving students and it turned out to be a great influence. Students began to behave themselves in order to get into a rank, and finally it made students get better. Also, they started to function as a main body of the school. Thus, I believe that evaluation of peers could be a motivation for them, and this would apply to teachers. I believe that schools should apply a system of evaluation toward faculty in that it has lots of benefits. It results in highly developed education and chance for students to participate in school affairs. Also, if schools add a thorough system of reward for people who are elected, it could develop even more greatly. |
