Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? than reading ficitional stories and novels. |
Reading a book is one of the most easiest way to learn and venture the everything without really facing the experience or situation. As it is, many people no matter what age the readers are, all kind of people love to read. And all kind of reader has each style of books they prefer. For example, Some may love reading mysteries, science or documentary or news about the world. But to separate the "books" in to two parts can be real stories or fictional stories. Even the fictional stories develop peoples imaginary, I prefer reading the real events or stories, as they makes chance for us to realize about the real world and give us a motivation to learn about the real human's knowledge instead of making a illusion in the person's mind.
As to start, fictional stories and novels can lead the person's thought to a not normal world. Even developing a imaginary is important and useful, too much can make the persons' life living in a fake world. One of the best example is one of my middle school classmates "Seok hoo", who loved to read books, only novels. And the stories must include fighting with every instrument the character can use and dominating the world. Which the stories was to win the every battle. This was not a problem. One day in the lunch time, one of my friend was having small argument with "Seok hoo". And as he got angry he grabbed the one of the umbrella and sticked in to the girls head. Later when teacher asked him, he said he just copied the action he had read in his novel. As I said, too much fictional novels can harm people's behavior and thought to a extremely unusual way.
Also, real stories and events can make reader realize the real world and learn about the existing knowledge. By reading a novel, we can't identify the information is wholly true or false. In addition, Fictional stories are written by writer that includes their subjective thoughts that make readers get easily incentive. But by reading real events and stories will give a motivation to gain a information and knowledge. For a great example, reading a real person's life, like one of the best chief in Korea named, "Lee soon sin." When I read the book about whole life of him, I strongly feel shame that how much I didn't realize the importance about the patriotism. And learned to be a one of the great leader as a Korean.
To sum up, Reading a real events are more beneficial than reading fictional stories because fictional stories create too much imaginary that can be harmful and real events gives us true information, knowledge that is beneficial to us. Imagine one of your best friend who loves reading novels about battering. And one day he fights with someone with small struggle. Than few minutes later he grabs a knife and starts to thrust the person with it. That he just saw in the novel. What kind of trigger do you think made him action like this? The novel or what? |
