Money is considered to be one of the most valuable objects human beings can earn because most of the objects are achievable via it. Money in our lives is an inevitable means to live in mostly any kind of society regardless of your age, gender, race, or country, Speaking about age, nowadays, it is easy to see parents letting their children use money under the guide of them. The reason of these actions is for it is a commonly known fact that children should learn how to manage money to be financially responsible in the future. Money management should be taught in a young age for the people are unaware of the hardness of earning money until they need to earn it themselves, and it is when you are a child that you are under the responsibility of someone that truly cares for your future.
Firstly, we may all remember how nice money first seemed to each and everyone of us. It seems like just a special piece of paper, but we bought sweets and toys with it. This may sound like a thought of only kindergarteners, but the truth is that nobody really knows how precious money is until they face the reality of having to gain it themselves. How hard work is, and how much effort is necessitated. Before anyone stands on their own feet and realize that money is not something that can come out from a wallet or bank account infinitely, money is merely a nice object and is too easy to spend. Once a young child gets used to just spending money, it is like drug: he gets addicted and so used to it, that it would be too difficult to ever stop using money as much as desired. For instance, there is a book and also a movie called "Shopaholic." The main character was born under wealthy parents, thus, never knew that money could show the bottom. She has been unsatisfied for her parents did not allow her to spend as much money as she wanted. Then one day as all the money became hers, by her parents death, she began shopping as much as she wanted and became addicted. Money was soon all spent, and she became bankrupted with hundreds of maker shoes and coats. If children do not learn how to manage money like the main character of the book, there is no doubt that they will become bankrupted as soon as they become independent.
Secondly, it is when we are young that we are under the responsibility of, usually, out parents and the younger we are, the more we listen to their guidance. the biggest drawback of money is that it is too good that everybody wants as much as possible. We see a lot of murdering and burglary, harming people just for money. There are thousands and millions of stories that tell us how relationship easily breaks up because of money. Not many friends are trustworthy enough to choose friendship over a huge amount of money. However, parents mostly care. In fact, they are the ones that earn the money and give it to us, either in a form of allowance, birthday gift, or award. They are our guidance until we go out to the world barehanded, so they have the duty to teach us the kinds of responsibilities. It is only when children are under their protection that they can ever learn how to manage money. Nobody else could teach us, and it is too risky to tell them to learn by experience later on. Anyone will inevitably begin to need financial responsibility, and they can learn it properly only when they are young enough to follow their parents, their responsible guides.
To sum up, the reason why money management should be taught when we are young is because we are young. We do not know the value of money and would likely get too used to only spending it, and as much as possible. Moreover, financial responsibility can be taught only by our parents, and we all know that we actually listen to out parents when we are way too young to ever dare to deny them. It may sound too dramatic and too harsh to claim the importance of teaching innocent and pure children how to use money, the representative of the materialized society, wisely, but for it is unavoidable to get to the time to manage it, we want them to be less vulnerable and more responsible.
