this society, it is impossible to make no mistakes. It is so natural for people.
Therefore, I think that leader of a group should admit their mistakes.
First of all,
people who are very well at admitting one’s mistakes are more likely to acknowledged
by other people. The meaning of success has completely changed compared to the
past. If it was merely focusing at one’s on way and excelling others, now it is
different. Along with ability, it is crucial to being a generous person who can
care about others opinion, and having an encouragement that can embrace other’s
complain toward to them. For example, when I was in college, I was team leader
of the class. I often did mistakes for my friends. My friends might have been felt
worse, but they cheered me up because they think that I am a good leader. The
reason was that I always admitted my mistakes and apologized to them.
Second,
admitting mistake is one of the capacities. To survive in this world of endless
competition, people ought to get images of good personality. In this case of having
role in a leader, every one aware that admitting one’s mistake is a very hard thing.
One’s abilities can be clouded by other’s abilities so in order to stand out
for an competent leader, a person must be able to get a humble attitude. Now, I’m
working with my boss who are very arrogant person, and never admit his mistakes.
When I working with him, he always offended me so I feel bad every day. My team
members also agree with this fact. He is not regarded as a successful leader in
this sense.
To sum up, it is
more likely to acknowledged by people when a person admits their mistakes. Moreover,
admitting their mistake is one of the good personalities for successful leader.
