Some people believe that we will be happier when we possess a lot of stuff because a score of possessions is proportionate to our amount of satisfaction, (Avoid using personal noun, Bit awkward sentence) while other people think differently.
If I were asked to choose, I would say that we will be happier when we have fewer possessions.
There are several reasons and example as follows.
To begin with, we have to sanitarily manage our stuff and frequently repair.(What does it mean? Why did you use the word "sanitarily" here?)
This is because lifetime of anything in this is limited and very short.
So, If we want to protract their living time, we should often manage our possession.
But, we don't have to spend a lot of time in this process when we have an only few things.
Thus, I think that we can be happier when we have fewer possession because we can conserve our precious time.
For example, when I was an 8, I frequently helped the cleaning my house because my father is very angry when he stays in experiences an unsanitary environment.
But, my father and mother decided a divorce after 2 years and I went to my father's house which was narrow compared to a previous house.
And I felt that my amount of cleaning are dwindled.
On top of that, If we do not too much eager to possess don't have greedy emotion to expansive stuffs and much possessions, we can enjoy our frugal life.
This is because our consumption a money will naturally decrease since we don't spend a money on buying.
Then, we are able to save our money for other significant consuming or immediate affairs such as accident or tuition fee.
Also, if we permanently last our frugal life, we will be satisfied with low merit.
For instance, according to an experiment of Tokyo University, we can logically conserve and gather our money when we have a few possessions.
They divided two persons with by habits to buy for their possession and they observe their variation of amount of money for 2 weeks.
Person A's consumption habit was like a noble class and person B did not frequently buy anything.
As a result, the person A' loss of the money was more prodigal life than our expectation.
But, person B's profit was bigger than his consumption.
Sum up, people can reduce their time to manage managing their possession and they can live acquire the frugal life when they have fewer possessions.
In this regard, I firmly believe that if their score of possessions are is fewer, people will be happier
