Recently, general awareness about whether it is wise that older people have to excise harder than younger people has aroused heated arguments. People, nevertheless, have conflicting ideas over the issue; while some people say that it is better that the elder work out harder, others deem otherwise. From my own point of view, I am in agreement with the former stance. In this essay, I will explain my idea by presenting a couple of reasons as follow.
The first reason for my opinion is that older people generally have less substantial compared with younger people. This is natural phenomenon. So, in order to complement older people’s health, they had better work out essentially. In addition, the illness of adult, especially in middle ages, has become the most important social matter. According to a reliable research company, HubBrain, it shows that the number of illness, such as angina, obesity, and so on, has increased more and more every year. Experts suggest that to prevent these illnesses people have to excericise more than one hour at least three or four days a week. Therefore, practicing every day is very important, especially older people.
Although physical activities help one’s health condition better, it is very helpful for one’s psychology simultaneously. This is because our body completely affects to our mental health. In some recent studies that conducted the interaction between body and mental found out that our body control our mental. It is now widely accepted that there are a great deal of senior problem like loneliness or depression etc. To avoid these problems, old people are supposed to do some activities including sports, as well as arts ones. The main reasons of this if you involve and do some games with other people, you could overcome your mental illness. For example, once my grandmother suffered from lonesomeness. So my mother recommended to do some activities, like swimming. After a while, my grandmother overcame her mental problem. At that time, she talked to me she was okay now, and she could have a lot of friends who were similar ages through the sports. Until now, she is enthusiastic to do that. Hence, to improve and treat the old’s mental problems exercising is essential in our society.
All things considered, it is beneficial for our society that older people need to practice harder than younger people: particularly, not only to upgrade physical condition, but also to therapy mental problems. (405 words)
