▶ Your Answer : The reading passage contends that there are is a number of interesting and plausible hypotheses for explaining TLPs, known as transient lunar phenomena. On the other hand, the lecturer brings up several points that contradict this argument. First of all, the lecturer points that the gas theory which is clouds of lunar gas are causing the phenomena is not responsible, clouds of lunar gas, which causes the phenomena is not responsible. This is because there are small amounts of lunar gas and they can not be seen from Earth. This refutes the author's point that the cause of the phenomena is the resulting gas which is made when gases beneath the surface of the Moon are expelled into the lunar atmosphere and they are visible from Earth. In the lecture, the point is made that there is no evidence for explaining to explain the dust theory insisting that TLPs are illuminated clouds of dust floating above the lunar landscape. the reason is dust is very large and huge, so it is impossible to see the suspended dust from Earth, which is reflected by light. This casts doubt on the author's dust theory (reading의 dust theory를 좀 더 설명해야할 거 같아요). The final point made by the lecture is that TLPs are not caused by solar radiation. although some portions of the Moon's surface can be illuminated by the solar flares, many other portions are not matched with them. Therefore, it can be said that the evidences which can prove the solar radiation theory are not sufficient.
