모두 토플 만점을 향하여!
topic: Imagine that you could ask a famous person one particular question.
Which question would you ask and why? Explain.
It is difficult to meet famous people. Those chances happened only twice in my life. I have met the governor of Gyunggi province and composer. At that time, I wasn't brave enough to ask some questions to them. If I could meet them again or other famous people, I would ask them what their mottos are.
First of all, people's mottos show the purpose of their lives. Through it, we can guess what their lives and their characteristics are. In addition, their mottos can explain why they have chosen their jobs because jobs usually reflect their goals of life. For example, the book "Tuesdays with Morrie" shows a person Morrie Schwartz. His motto is "Love or perish". From it, people who have never read this book can also assume that Morrie would love this environment and his job would be devotional. They are true. His job is a teacher. Later, Morrie got incurable disease. But he didn't get discouraged. He maintained his life happily, giving others many teachings. Certainly, mottos tell many aspects of peole.
Next, I can improve my self by asking their mottos. I can compare my belief with theirs. Also, I can judge myself if I am fit to that of their lives. If I don't fit badly, I will look back on myself and correct my disadvantages.
To put it in a nutshell, I would question to celebrities what their mottos are because they tell many sides of people and provide me with a chance to improve my self. I will look forward the day I can ask a question about goals of successful people.
