Some
people believe that the sophisticated society after amount twenty years will
allow people to have more time for leisure activities. However, this essay will
contend that it will be difficult for people to enjoy their leisure activities
in twenty years than now. This is because there is a wide range of information
that people should handle in the future. Moreover, the population will be
increased gradually.
To
begin with, the information that people should acquire would be enlarged and
disseminated drastically in the coming future. After the advent of a computer
and the internet, it is possible that people can access a wide variety of
information freely without the limitation of time and space. The technological
development makes it feasible the border between different fields to be
corrupted, which means that certain knowledge can be utilized in distinctive
field such as a financial engineering or engineering management. People should
spend many time to understand more complicated knowledge and to utilize. Thus,
the time for their leisure activities would be decreased gradually. For
instance, Steve Jobs seems to be representative case corroborating the fact
that he made knowledge with computer be more enigmatic than the past. He
developed the first computer with multifaceted typefaces and proportionally
spaced-fonts, which made from distinct field, Calligraphy, Computer science and
Greek mythology. People who want to work in computer field had to try to the
extra miles to assimilate the knowlegde being more complex.

addition, the increased population would make it hard for people to enjoy their
leisure activities. Even though there are the restricted economic development
and limited resource, the population continues to be creased. In the
environment, most of companies require drastically different and various
qualification for job seeker. To satisfy the demand, young people should
concentrate more on their studies. Even, workers also should go through great
lengths to improve their ability to retain their position. For example, my
father mentioned that he could be hired after graduate immediately in the past.
This is because there were abundant resource and potential economic state.
However, in the modern society, I have spent my valuable time preparing for a
job after graduate in comparison to my father because of exorbitant population,
but limited work position. Thus, most of students like me will give up their
time for leisure activities in the future as well as the present.
To
summarize, people will take in a wide array of information generated by
amalgamating distinctive knowledge, and moreover most of people will
concentrate more on their study to survive in the competitive society.
Considering the above two reasons, it is evident that people will have less
time for leisure activities as the time has passed.
