Many countries had permitted to sell cigarette freely for increasing tax revenue. However, these days numerous countries don’t allow to smoke in some extend because the number of victim by cigarette surges. Some people think that the smoker’s rights are being taken away when they cannot smoke in buildings. However, in my opinion, anti-smoking laws must be performed in terms of prevention of respiratory disorders as well as cleanness of circumstances. Laws against public smoking enables people to keep in shape. There are a number of people suffer from lung cancer by cigarette. Some people get the cancer by smoking in person. Others get the cancer by secondhand smoking. If countries enact anti-smoking laws, both cases will be prevented. Smoker will reduce the number of cigarettes or stop smoking; they will feel annoyed to find smoking areas. Also, none-smoker will be free from haphazard of passive smoking. According to the Times, one of the popular weekly magazines, the number of people suffering from lung cancer who live in the country not having anti-smoking laws is three times more than that of those living in the country having anti-smoking laws. In this respect, anti-smoking laws are one of the crucial roles in making people healthy. The laws banning smoking in public places and office buildings make settings clean. One day, I looked around streets for how my country’s street cleans. I was surprised at the fact that most of the garbage consists of cigarette butts. More over, the conduct that smokers spit on the street makes street dirty. Also, smoke contaminates air and makes feel bothered for none-smokers. In this manner, making laws against public will help environment be cleaned. In this manner, law against public smoking allows people to maintain health and to have clean circumstances. People have believed that cigarette does more harm than good. Although smokers know the fact, they cannot stop smoking readily. By enacting anti-smoking laws, nations will help smoker stop smoking. |
