Some people prefer to live in places that have the same weather or climate all year long. Others like to live in areas where the weather changes several times a year. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice. People dwell everywhere, from the North Pole to somewhere island near the Equator. Since the revolution of transportation in the early nineteenth century, people have tried to find a better place to live. Some people move to warmer places, and others move to cleaner places to live. I prefer to live a place that has the same weather all year long because I can play many sports outside all the time. Moreover, I do not like either too cold or too hot weather because it can be easier to catch a cold during a turning point of seasons. To begin with, I can exercise and play sports outside all the time since I am a huge fan of various sports and exercise, such as football, marathon, jogging, and golf. For example, I used to live in Seoul, Korea that has distinctive four seasons. Spring, summer, and fall were fine with playing sports with my friends but I could not play any sports in winter season. I usually spent all the winter time staying at home. Of course, there are some winter sports, I rarely went ice skating because it was too cold outside like under zero degree in Fahrenheit to keep skating more than an hour. In addition, I would not have to be worried about catching a cold during a turning point of season if there is no weather change from a season to another season. I am person who gets a cold very easily especially when there is dramatic weather change. When I was a child I used to catch a cold during the changing season as I do not have strong lung and nose. Sometimes, I could not go to school because of severe cold. In conclusion, I prefer to live in a place that does have all the same weather because it is not only better for me to play sports but also I do not have to be worried about catching a cold. Although the same weather in all seasons sounds a little bit monotonous, places with all time spring or all time fall weather is often chosen to be the best place to live for seniors. |
