▶ Your Answer : It is always difficult to fathom what others think, but my opinion in regard to the given topic is adamant. I agree that parents' involvement in their children's education is greater nowadays than in the past.
First of all, unlike the past, parents today enable their children to learn more and gain potential benefits. Children today are living in a world of meritocracy where only extremely one can survive. Consequently, many children suffer physically and mentally from tight schedules and highly competitive environments. In the meanwhile, they cannot but miss chances to delve into numerous issues for their self-improvement if their parents do not spend extra time and energy to help them. This explain why parents today are more involved in their children's education. According to a recent study conducted by world-top tier university, it shows that parents' involvement in their children's education is greater nowadays than in the past. Likewise, this result indicates that my argument is persuasive
In addition, thanks to the advancement of technology, especially the internet in modern days, parents easily find educational contents online for their children. When society was underdeveloped, many parents had to spend tremendous amount of time and energy finding information they needed to teach their children. However, as technology is coming closer and closer toward the cutting-edge, today's parents can obtain all sorts of educational information, video clips, online lecturers, and teaching methods to help their children. The experience of one of my colleague is a perfect example of what I contend. When she raised her children, she used to use online channel like Youtube or education sites to teach her children. Even if it was only for few minutes to find that information, it could be a great methods of improving her children's knowledge. Thus, the given topic is valid.
As explicitly and logically elaborated above, I agree with the statement that Parents' involvement in their children's education is greater nowadays than in the past believing that parents' involvement in their children's education will benefit them more in the long run. |
