It is better to work at a big and renowned company than a small company |
Nowadays, many people usually prefer to work in big companies such as Sony, L.G. However, in my point of view, it is better choice for me to be in small firms. The reasons behind this are that there are surely more opportunities to participate many projects. Not only that, when it comes to the working condition with more familiar companions, working life in the tiny firm is more suitable. First of all, In terms of getting more chance to show my own ability, being a worker in small company is surely better choice rather than gigantic company. To be specific, as there are usually many competitions and skilled-rivals in huge company, it is hard for new comer to have any chance to take part in the important project which helps employee to promote. To illustrate one of my father's friends, he was a student of remarkable skills in many ways in his undergraduate school period, and after graduate the college, he was hired by Samsung, the most famous company in Korea. However, ironically, his college friends had been promoted year by year in their fields. he had never promoted for 6 years in spite of his famous skills. This phenomenon came from too much competitions in the huge major company. In other words, although he was very brilliant person in his schooling time, it relatively couldn't be splendid factor compare with his elite follows in his filed. Many say that if he had enter the small or middle sized firm, he would appeal his skill more rather than what he had. On top of that, the circumstance with only a few companions generally make them have more familiar atmosphere themselves. To put it again, on one hand, it is not easier to know well each other in wide-spread working space in colossal company. On the other hand, the situation surrounded with small numbers of members enable them to have more talk and understanding about their colleagues. From the result of the study recently released by the association of employees in Korea, 76 percent of workers who belong to tiny firms which have less than 100 workers answered that they almost happy with their working mood and relationship with their co-workers. On the other hand, only 29 percent of employees who are in major companies which are nominated on `10 Korean famous companies` answered that they always have get suffered from the stress and pressure of bad mood and lack of familiar relationship with their companions day by day. This make me sure that working place with small numbers usually provide more comfortable and happier surroundings to workers. In a nutshell, I believe that working in tiny firm helps people in many ways. My idea comes from the grounds : more chances to undertake important product which make persons show their ability and familiar circumstance which set hired person free from the stress. In this regard, I have no doubt that choosing tiny firm will be more resonable selection to new workers. |
