In contrast to the popular belief, I think that receiving criticism from others is the key to one's success at their workplace than not following to the subsequent reasons: it helps people solve problems more wisely and broaden horizons of the world as well. First of all, it plays an important role in accepting criticism. It is obvious that evaluation is one of the most essential factors to be succeed in this world. People could recognize that they are not perfect with their tasks by getting assessment, which as a result they might solve trouble more cleverly. For example, I'll talk about me and my friend, Tom to elucidate my point. When we were in a semiconductor company, we had a same project which need to search and report about electric conductor to peers. We prepared hardly and submitted to the Boss. However, the boss asked us to modify it so that we had to give her it again. In the case of me, I sought advice from my colleagues to change some parts of it and reflected their opinions. Unlike me, Tom amended himself. After two weeks, when we gave her our assignments respectively, my performance published in the company paper and was paied extra bonus but Tom's did not. If I had did like him, I could not have received a good score. On top of that, people can broaden their views of the world as well. It is undeniable fact that taking opinions from a lot of people, which as a result allows people to better understand other cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives. As modern society is becoming increasingly globalized, today's world requires people with international views. People can do this better by having a various of evaluation at their company. For instance, Steve Jobs, who is the founder of Apple, made great accomplishments in his lifetime. I read online that he was very successful because he was global minded and culturally sensitive. He did this by carefully listening to the opinions of his co-workers and always being open assessment in group position. In conclusion, I firmly believe that the advantages of asking advice and criticism far outweigh its disadvantages. All things considered, it is my belief that my argument has been efficiently and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above.
