▶ Your Answer : Nowadays, most schools and parents have motivated children to play more sports activities. Some people insist that children should play sports for fun rather than for competition while others disagree. I agree with the latter statement. In this writing, I will demonstrate main reasons why children should play sports for competition based on my experiences.
First of all, via a fair competition, children can have a strong attainment as well as learn how to be more cooperative with others. Most children are not familiar with being patient with other stuffs and people, So, they, sometimes, have argument or even fight with others due to trifle things. However, playing sports activities could help them to be easily unified and achieve their goals. For example, when in middle school, I do not have any socialization skills because I was somewhat selfish and self-satisfied. So, my teacher recommended that I join a baseball club in my school to improve my social skill. While playing baseball game with others, it was such a good opportunity to learn how to talk with others and develop my social skills. Not only that, we often had chances to attend baseball competitions with other middle schools. We made all our effort to win the competition and that played a important role in be more cooperative to me. Therefore, having competition could be more good for children to have a achievement and be more cooperative.
Additionally, competition can help children to develop their specialties of athletic abilities in an efficient way. A lot of competition of sports can be a good inspiration to children to improve their athletic aptitude. For instance, we can see lots of renowned sports stars who show their beautiful performances to the audience. However, most of their performances were happened when they are have competitions like Olympic, or World Cup. Most sports starts have a number of practice to show better performance to their audience via competition. That's because these competitions help motivate them to try to develop their sports abilities. Thus, children can strengthen their sports skills by having competitions effectively.
In conclusion, I have shown main reasons why children should play sports for competition based on having a strong attainment and being cooperative, and developing their specialties of athletic skills. I firmly believe that it is more beneficial to children. |
