Also, there was a gradual increase and decrease in the amount of spending money on books in Germany until the year 2003. This figure rose in 2005 when the expenditure of buying books in Germany spent over 90 million dollars which is recorded the biggest spending of money. Moreover, the sales of Austria saw a dramatic increase from 40 million dollars in 2001 to around 70 million dollars in 2005.
